Are you a fan of spine-chilling mysteries, nostalgic 80s vibes, and eerie twists reminiscent of Stranger Things and Goosebumps? Then you’re exactly who I’m looking for! I’m currently recruiting ARC (Advance Reader Copy) readers for my new young adult horror novel, Welcome to Moonville — the first book in the Liminal Paradox series.

This is your chance to get early access to the story before its official release and help shape its journey by sharing your thoughts, reviews, and feedback!

What is Welcome to Moonville About?

Synopsis:

Cove Sullivan’s life has always felt like a curse. His family moves from town to town, never settling long enough for him to call anywhere home. But when they land in a new town and decide to take a ghost tour in Moonville, Ohio, things go from annoying to terrifying faster than he could’ve imagined. What starts as a lame ghost tour through an abandoned tunnel soon spirals into a nightmare when Cove and a girl named Sara encounter a curse that has trapped the town—and everyone in it—in a twisted version of the 1980s.

Moonville isn’t just another dead-end town; it’s a place where 80s music, fashion, and pop culture rule. But behind the neon colors and throwback vibes lies something dark. The Lavender Lady, a ghostly figure who haunts the local legends, isn’t just a scary story—she’s real, and she’s the monster keeping the town in its cursed state. Her influence has turned Moonville into a nightmarish liminal dimension, where monsters roam the foggy streets, and cursed cassette tapes lure people to their doom.

When Cove and Sara accidentally trigger one of the town’s cursed tapes, they’re thrust into a dangerous race against time. Guided by cryptic messages on the tape and whispers from the Lavender Lady herself, they must uncover Moonville’s darkest secrets—including the horrific truth about the train accident that started it all. Along the way, they’ll team up with trapped teens who have long since given up on escaping, face off against a shape-shifting monster, and explore eerie locations like abandoned schools and forgotten train stations.

But when they discover that the town’s curse isn’t just about ghosts—it’s tied to a ritual involving thousands of sacrificed bodies meant to open a portal—Cove realizes that burning the cursed tapes isn’t enough. To survive, they’ll have to destroy the curse at its source, confront the Lavender Lady’s final form, and make an impossible choice: stay trapped forever or risk everything to break the cycle.

Full of eerie twists, 80s nostalgia, and spine-chilling horror, Welcome to Moonville is the start of a thrilling young adult series that explores what happens when fear is turned into fuel—and how far you’ll go to escape the inescapable.

But Moonville isn’t done with them yet.

After all, curses evolve. And some nightmares don’t end when you wake up.

Perfect for fans of Goosebumps, Stranger Things, and eerie mysteries with a nostalgic twist.
